I began my fitness journey a little over a year ago and was overwhelmed by all the promises and promotions of various personal training pages. I decided rather than getting snippets of the truth, I'd make my own site where I could list some of my favorite exercises, what they work, and ways to improve my overall fitness. But most importantly, I wanted to take care of my muscles in ways I never thought possible. Join me as I discover all the things I learned, not only for personal gains, but for the muscles!
From first-hand experience, I'm well aware of all the gurus that promise the world but photoshop their pictures. I've tried personal training sessions before, but was a bit put off by the high costs of something I can do myself. My problem was making time to go to the gym. I wanted to provide some input into things that worked for me, as well as help simplify some of the things that confused me when I was first starting out. Macros, calorie deficit, proper water or protein intake, and of course, how spot-treatment is the biggest scam in the industry!
I'll be posting things that I've learned in my journey. Favorite workouts, techniques that helped me improved, nutrition information I've tried, and a deeper explanation of commonly misunderstood things in the fitness industry. I intend on treating this site like my personal journal, but made public for people like you to learn and grow from, for free!
